Pause button during game#492

if someone needs needs to use the restroom or get a drink from the drinking fountin etc. then press the button so it can be fair to the student who’s playing

I like the idea of being able to pause the whole game as a teacher, sometimes there is an announcement, or an interruption, a pause and freeze option would be excellent

It would be nice to be able to pause a game when we need to at times.

or a pause button on an assignment too…we have a lunch period that cuts our class in half, so if they start an assignment that has a 20 minute time limit, they can’t pause the game, they have to let time run out during lunch and have to start over after lunch. Could be helpful when doing it as HW at home too.

Please add a pause feature for the teacher! We were in fishtopia and I forgot to add the 30 minutes of time for lunch. So the game ended while they were in lunch. It takes so much time to build up your cash that it doesn’t make sense for us to start over after lunch. Please, please, please consider the pause feature. I have noticed that suggestions for a pause feature was made 2 years ago and another 1 year ago. I am surprised you haven’t considered this feature.

I would love a pause feature! It is difficult to make announcements to the class while they are playing Gimkit because it is hard for them to split their focus between the screen and me.

and protection because if it is just paused then they could get hurt

A pause button is definitely needed in education to check for undestanding.

I think this should he a host/teacher only feature (so that some annoying kid doesn’t spam pause), but this sounds cool! I also think they shouldn’t just freeze in place (boredom), but go to a small room until the teacher/host unpauses the game, then they just return to their spots.

Yes please pause button and would he great to paise if tye class period is ending but I want them to continue another day. Please!!!!!

Pauseing would be great! Especaily for single player when you need it most so you can do other things inbetween.

Yes! I’ve always wondered why they don’t have this and my students are always begging me to pause it instead of ending it so we can resume the gimkit the day after. I’m sure pretty much every gimkit user would love to have a pause feature!

If you pause it because it lunch or something and you have to close the device wouldn’t it just loose connection? But other thatn that good idea.
