End game/ end clapping#288

My students like the clapping but they’re kids and don’t stop when I say for them to stop. I would like an “end game” button to really end the game and stop the clapping. I had to just turn it off.

Maybe a special “reward” or something happens if they can collectively stop clapping at a certain number? (set by the teacher?) My students tend to want to aim at a particular round number of claps… and there’s always one who can’t resist putting them over… then they’re off to the next target, and on it goes…

Yes, an end game button would be nice. Especially if the end game happened automatically on a timer or clap number set by teacher and was signified by an animation of a character taking a bow.

Okay I understand what you mean, but as a student who automatically buys the clapping x10 every game to see how many claps I can click, I have to disagree. CLAPPING IS AWESOME EVEN THOUGH IT’S POINTLESS!

This is too funny, I just completed a kit with my students as a Reciew for their upcoming test. I just released them for lunch however my students are still clapping? I see no harm in this, if they want to clap I am just gonna let them clap on? I am just really curious as to the point in the intensity of the clapping???

It’s just something students and kids in general do. Who can clap the most? Who can clap the fastest? Who claps the longest? What’s the highest combined number of claps we can get? I don’t even care to see if I won the Gimkit or not, I just go right into clapping. Even when the teacher coses of gets off their screen and I can’t see how many claps the entire class has, I still keep clicking. It’s sort of an attention span or distractive thing, I don’t know.
